WIMMIN is an immersive, 4-hour performative ode to women who have stimulated awareness of heritage and self-assertiveness through the paradigm of Afrocentricity. The event featured a celebration of the dancing female body through movement, weaved into time-based installation and musical narratives that portrayed the rich legacy of women in music, our ancestry and the collective unconscious.
